Nametra-pialàna i Mazen Asbahi [1], mpisolovava nanolo-tena ho an'ny Amerikanina Miozolomana sy Arabo mba ho mpandrindra ny fampielezan-kevitr'i Barack Obama taorian'ny fiampangana [2]azy ho mifandray amin'i Jamal Said [3], imam ao amin'ny moské fondamentalista iray ao Illinois. Niasa nandritra ny fotoana fohy tao amin'ny biraon'ny Allied Assets Advisors Fund [4] niaraka tamin'ny Said tamin'ny taona 2000 i Asbahi.

yaman's amateur ramblings, mpianatra Syriana iray any Etazonia, manamarika [5] ny tsy fahombiazan'ny fampielezan-kevitr'i Obama hipaka amin'ireo Silamo sy Arabo-Amerikana mpifidy :

After 8 years of the Bush administration, Muslim and Arab Americans, like others, have been counting on a breath of fresh air to come their way so that they might feel safe and welcome in their own homes once more. When Barack Obama announced that he was committed to change, many felt for the first time that it was possible to hope for something less bleak than the legacy that Dick Cheney and Donald Rumsfeld had left behind. Unfortunately the Obama campaign has shown over and over again that it is more interested in playing along with an irresponsible media and its electoral antics, than it is in building solidarity between Americans from all communities and walks of life. If Obama wants to be the candidate of change, he has to exemplify that change throughout his campaign, not only through promises to be fulfilled after the elections.

Taorian'ny 8 taonan'ny fitondrana Bush, sahirankirana ny Amerikanina Miozolomana sy Arabo, tahaka ny hafa vao mahatsiaro ho voaaro sy tongasoa ao an-tanindrazany indray. Raha nanambara i Barack Obama fa vonona ny hiova, maro no nahatsapa voalohany fa azo atao ny manantena zavatra tsy dia matroka kokoa noho ny lova navelan'i Dick Cheney sy Donald Rumsfeld. Indrisy anefa fa nampiseho indray ny fampielezan-kevitr'i Obama fa liana kokoa milalao miaraka amin'ny fampahalalam-baovao tsy tompon'andraikitra sy ny mpifidiny taloha izy, fa tsy ny fananganana firaisankina eo amin'ny Amerikanina avy amin'ny vondrom-piarahamonina sy ny sarangam-piainana rehetra. Raha te ho kandida ho an'ny fanovana i Obama, dia tsy maintsy asehony izany fanovana izany mandritra ny fampielezan-keviny, tsy amin'ny alalan'ireo fampanantenana hotanterahina aorian'ny fifidianana ihany.

Mamintina amin'ny fanomezany ny soso-keviny manokana momba ny fomba hahatongavan'ny fampielezan-kevitr'i Obama amin'ireo mponina ireo ilay bilaogera :

If Obama wants to reach out to the Muslim American community, he needs to do it by standing by them in the face of these and similar smear campaigns which are succeeding in making everything Muslim, and everything Arab, “untouchable” when it comes to politics and campaigning in the United States. He needs to take their concerns about immigration, Department of Homeland Security harassment, and foreign policy in places like Iraq, Afghanistan, and Palestine seriously. If he does this, it will mean more to Muslim and Arab Americans than the invention of token campaign jobs which look good on paper but might not achieve much–after all, even George Bush appointed an advisor to the White House to represent the Muslim community during his term, but hardly anybody from the Muslim or Arab American communities would call that the kind of “change” they were looking for.

Raha te-hipaka any amin'ny fiarahamonina Miozolomana Amerikana i Obama, dia mila manao izany izy amin'ny alàlan'ny fanohanana azy ireo manoloana  ireo fampielezan-kevitra rehetra fanosihosena mitovy izay mahomby amin'ny fananganana ny Silamo rehetra, sy ny Arabo rehetra, ho “tsy azo kitihana” raha resaka politika sy fampielezan-kevitra any Etazonia. Mila mandray tsara ny ahiahin'izy ireo mikasika ny fifindra-monina, ny fanorisorenana ny sampan-draharahan'ny Fiarovana Anatiny, ary ny politika ivelany any amin'ny toerana toa an'i Iraka, Afghanistan ary Palestina izy. Raha manao izany izy dia midika zavatra bebe kokoa amin'ny Amerikanina Miozolomana sy Arabo noho ny  famoronana asa fampielezan-kevitra an'ohatra izay toa tsara jerena an-taratasy kanefa mety tsy hahavita zavatra – na dia i George Bush aza nanendry mpanolotsaina iray tao amin'ny Trano Fotsy mba hisolotena ny fiarahamonina Miozolomana nandritra ny fe-potoam-piasany, saingy tsy misy olona avy amin'ny vondrom-piarahamonina Amerikana Miozolomana na Arabo miantso izany ho karazana “fiovana” izay notadiavin'izy ireo.

Avy ao Maraoka, Myrtus mametraka [6] fanontaniana sarotra:

Why is it that everything even remotely Muslim surrounding Obama always ends up in a controversy?

Is it simply because the Obama campaign is spineless or is the Right just too powerful?

Nahoana no miafara amin'ny disadisa foana ny zava-drehetra momba ny Miozolamana manodidina an'i Obama, na dia lavitra aza?

Tsotra fotsiny satria tsy misy ampitsony ny fampielezan-kevitr'i Obama na matanjaka loatra ny Ankavanana?

Israel Matzav manombatombana [7] ny fomba nanakaramana an'i Asbahi tamin'ny voalohany:

But there are two other possibilities as to why this happened. One is that Barack Hussein Obama and his campaign see nothing wrong with employing people who are connected to terrorists. After all, as Ed points out, Obama himself spent a lot more time sitting on the same board with William Ayers than Asbahi did with Said.

The second possibility is that the type of Muslim who isn't a terrorist sympathizer – the Noni Darwish's, the Ayan Hirsi Ali's, the Wafa Sultan's – wouldn't work for the Obama campaign and wouldn't attract many Muslim voters.

Neither possibility bodes well for an Obama presidency or for the future of the United States.

Saingy misy fomba roa hafa ny antony nahatonga izany. Ny iray dia ny hoe Barack Hussein Obama sy ny fampielezan-keviny  tsy mahita ratsy mihitsy amin'ny fampiasana olona mifandray amin'ny mpampihorohoro. Na izany na izany, araka ny voalazan'i Ed, nandany fotoana bebe kokoa niaraka tamin'i William Ayers fa tsy tahaka ny nataon'i Asbahi tamin'i Said Obama tenany.

Ny fomba faharoa dia ny karazana Miozolomana izay tsy mpanohana ny mpampihorohoro – ny Noni Darwish, ny Ayan Hirsi Ali, ny Wafa Sultan – tsy hiasa ho an'ny fampielezan-kevitr'i Obama ary tsy hisarika mpifidy Miozolomana maro.

Tsy misy amin'ireo fambara tsara ho an'ny fiadidian'ny Obama na ny hoavin'i Etazonia.

Will ao amin'ny KABOBfest, manamarika amin'ny tantara momba ireo mponina Gaza mividy t-shirt Obama tsy ara-dalàna [8], ary nilaza ity [9] momba ny fialàn'i Asbahi:

This came right when the campaign excised more Arab-Islamic controversy potential. Its volunteer Muslim Outreach Coordinator, Chicago attorney Mazen Asbahi, resigned after 9 days to avoid any unwanted attention to his past associations with groups and individuals some believe to be linked to the Muslim Brotherhood. Yes, it's probably all bull. But the standard is higher is when you're an Arab or Muslim. And it's even higher when 12% of Americans think the candidate is Muslim.

Nitranga izany rehefa nanafaka ny mety ho fifandirana Arabo-Islamika ny fampielezan-kevitra. Nametra-pialana 9 andro taoriana ny mpirotsaka an-tsitrapony mpandritra ny Fifandraisana amin'ny Miozolomana, mpisolovava ao Chicago, Mazen Asbahi  mba hisorohana ny fikasana tsy iriana rehetra amin'ireo fikambanany taloha miaraka amin'ireo vondrona sy olona sasantsasany izay mino ny fifandraisana amin'ny Mpirahalahy  Miozolomana. Eny, angamba “ombalahy (taureau)” izy rehetra. Saingy avo kokoa ny fenitra rehefa Arabo na Miozolomana ianao. Ary mbola avo kokoa raha mihevitra ny 12% amin'ny Amerikana fa Miozolomana ny kandida.
